Great talents at Camerababy Elite Basketball Tryout PDF Print E-mail

Anaheim, CA – August 20, 2011

The tryout camp of Camerababy Elite Basketball Team’s Asian tour was considered to be the most fruitful day of recruiting for Camerababy Elite. There were twenty-two professional basketball players from all over the country flooding into the American Sports Center in Anaheim to the tryout camp.

“The selection was tough among so many excellent players”, said Michael Hsu, Elite Talent Exchange President. To better observe every aspect of the players, the players were divided into tour teams which took turns to engage in six ten-minute games and then regrouped into four different teams to engage in two more games.

Trayvon Lathan, the 6’7” point guard who has played professional basketball in China, Canada, and Lebanon, was certainly the most versatile player among all 22 players. Former USC outstanding player, Jeff Trepagnier who spent his past years playing for top clubs overseas after 3 years in the NBA, had shown his various scoring skills to outplay whoever guarded him. Tony Farmer, a 6’10” veteran who played in the NBA in his early career, was there at the camp passing on his experience and skills to the young talents. The big surprise of the camp was Augustine Okosun, a 25 years old Nigerian, who dominated the paint with his massive body and his aggressiveness on both offensive and defensive ends. Jason Warren, who was the MVP when playing professional basketball in Lithuania, has proven his all-round scoring skills by making hook shots, turn-around jumpers, step back jump shots, etc.

There were just too many great players to mention here. With so many great basketball talents, Camerababy Elite will be well-equipped for their Asian tour indeed. The training camp of will begin soon after the roster is finalized. For more information on Canerababy Elite Basketball Team, visit www.eteglobal.com.
