The game was played five quarters long, and the Camerababy Elite ended up with a 133-125 victory. “I like what we were doing on the court,” commented Camerababy Elite’s Coach, Ray Johnson. “We had great energy. The guys were playing together with no selfish play at all. It was our very first game and it was a great victory to win over a top ABA team that contained 6 ex-NBA players.” The match started promptly after 7pm, the audience filled with supporting friends and families. The game was heated from the start, with both teams taking initiative with the offensive. LA Slam was quick to attack. However, their swift offensive tactic met its match with the Camerababy Elite's tough defensive line led by Donald Jones, who accomplished 4 blocks, the highest in this game. With the LA Slam's advances thwarted, Camerababy Elite took the opportunity to attack. The Camerababy Elite led the game from the start. LA Slam made an attempt to catch up and came close at the third quarter. However, LA Slam never made its way past Camerababy Elite. The game finished with Camerababy Elite winning 133-125, serving as a nice warm-up for the upcoming Hualien Probation International Basketball Tournament.
