Optimistic Closure for the Training Camp
Walnut, CA – October 7, 2011
After the previous night's victory over LA Slam, the top ABA team, Camerababy Elite Basketball Team resumed its last day of training in anticipation of the upcoming Hualien Probation International Basketball Tournament (HPB).
“The players were excited about the trip, not only because that HPB is an international tournament, but also because it would be the first time in Asia for most of them,” said the President, Michael Hsu.
Camerababy Elite Basketball Team and Elite Talent Exchange staff would be departing for Taiwan on October 8. They were scheduled to arrive on October 9 midnight and their first game in the HPB would be on October 12. The team would be running on a tight schedule in Taiwan. Jet lag would be expected to be a challenging issue for the team. But hopefully everyone would be able to recuperate before the first game started.
“I have confidence in the team. This is a great team and as long as [the players] rest well and look after themselves, performance should not be a problem,” Coach Johnson expressed optimism at the team's potential. Well, all the best for the upcoming HPB and GO TEAM!
